An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Disclosure & Barring Service Team Leader in Information Management and Compliance Professional Standards Department. What you will be doing? To provide support to the Disclosure and Barring Service Manager through the organisation, supervision, training and development of staff within the Disclosure and Barring Unit (DBU), providing tactical and operational guidance across nationally agreed quality assurance framework (QAF) process specific to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). To further assist the Manager by assessing and processing enhanced disclosure applications in accordance with regulatory statutory and procedural requirements and the timely processing of disclosure requests relating to Barring in line with legislation and the Memorandum of Understanding. The role will incorporate personnel management, customer service, and the processing of applications/requests in addition to providing leadership and guidance in respect of the functions undertaken across the business area. The Supervisor/Team Leader will adhere to legislative and procedural requirements as well as monitor and quality assure staff submissions with the focus being placed within the safeguarding guidelines of Dyfed Powys Police and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
