We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our team of Professional Quantity Surveyors within the Commercial Team at Cormac.
You must be keen to pursue a career in Quantity Surveying, ideally with some quantity surveying experience, although this isn’t essential.
You must be hardworking, keen, meticulous and professional and either already have a degree or willing to undertake a degree course in Quantity Surveying.
Apprentices will follow the Level Chartered Surveyor Apprenticeship Standard.

Duties include (but are not limited to):
1. Assist with the company’s Quantity Survey monthly procedures
2. To assist the Commercial Team with the following;
3. The monthly cost/value reconciliation (CVR) reporting in accordance with current process including cost tracker and income/contribution monthly profiles.
4. The management of the payment processes with clients ensuring applications for payment are submitted and tracked in accordance with agreed payment schedules.
5. The preparation of compensation events/variations.
6. The compilation of subcontract orders and to attend pre-contract meetings.
7. The accurate measurement of subcontract works.
8. The management of subcontract accounts including issuing of subcontract payment certificates.
9. To be aware of and adhere to applicable rules, regulations, legislation and procedures Data Protection, Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, company policies.
10. The management of clients budgets and reporting.
