Hours: 15-27 hours per week (can be flexible but must include Fridays)
Salary: Dependent on experience
Annual Leave: 5 weeks + 10 days bank holiday + extra day off for your birthday
Clarkston Medical, serving two busy and thriving practices, is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team in a modern health centre in East Renfrewshire.
With a combined patient list of over 15,500, our clinical team includes GP Partners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, and an integrated multidisciplinary team including a pharmacist, physiotherapist, and community link workers.
The Role
We are seeking a Practice Nurse to provide a full range of primary care services, including, but not limited to:
Managing long-term conditions such as diabetes (including foot care), heart disease, respiratory conditions, and kidney disease
Routine clinical care, including wound management, minor illnesses, and sexual health
Womens health and contraception, including smear queries, implants, and contraceptive reviews
Nursing administration, such as supporting referrals, reviewing results (including blood tests), and assisting with practice audits
This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with strong clinical skills and excellent communication, who is confident working independently and taking responsibility for patient care.
