CAD TechnicianLeicestershireFull-timeAn established engineering business within the rail sector is seeking a CAD Technician to support the delivery of rail projects across its Rail Systems team.The Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will produce and maintain CAD drawings for rail projects, supporting engineering and project teams to ensure work is delivered safely, accurately and on time.Key Responsibilities Produce CAD drawings for rail projectsWork closely with engineers and designers to support project deliveryIssue drawings to clients, contractors and suppliersSupport engineering and project teams with design and installation activitiesAssist with panel layout design, power distribution and schematic drawings Skills & Experience Experience using AutoCAD (or similar) in a rail or regulated environmentKnowledge of schematic diagrams and quality proceduresStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAble to manage workload and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills Hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday-FridayCore hours: Mon-Thurs 09:00-16:00 Fri 09:00-12:00
