Th Plough Inn is recruiting a Co-General Manager to join the team.
As Co-General Manager you will lead the team and manage the venue, help to coach and develop your team and meet agreed targets. You'll be part of a group of sister venues that are all working towards making moments that matter and delivering experiences that keeps our guests coming back for more.
Role Profile: You will work with the other General Manager to manage shifts The Plough Inn and ensure that peak service hours are covered and well managed. You will monitor gaps and opportunities for improvement throughout the group. Your role will require you to work closely with kitchen staff on menu development and roll out and work to improve front and back of house communication. You will attend company meetings as required, including weekly meeting Directors, to discuss objectives and problems for the following week/months.
Skills & Experience:
* Ability to manage the team and business
* Experience in front of house and improving the customer experience throughout the business
* Excellent communication and presentation skills – ensuring you are available to always communicate with customers and to maintain good relationships with all staff
* Experience pricing all bar drinks and ensure that the required profit is achieved, as set in the budget.
* Managing stock levels to ensure that minimum stock levels are maintained, and items do not run out.
* Bar stock – rotating in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations.
* Have complete familiarity with key IT bar software
* Team player who is comfortable working on own initiative
* An awareness of market trends and competitors
* Results driven approach
* Knowledge of compliance
Contracted hours: 45 weekly
Rate of Pay: Negotiable dependant on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £37,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
