BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - AEROSPACE & ADVANCED MANUFACTURING - BELFAST - UP TO £40 PER HOUR (INSIDE IR35) - 12 MONTH CONTRACT
We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of capital construction and infrastructure projects across aerospace manufacturing and engineering facilities. This client-side role offers responsibility for projects from feasibility and design through to commissioning and handover, supporting critical operational and production environments.
Responsibilities:
* Lead construction, facilities, and infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle.
* Develop project plans, CAPEX business cases, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
* Coordinate internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with operational requirements.
* Manage project governance, contractor performance, stakeholder communications, and project reporting.
* Support commissioning, handover, and operational integration of completed projects.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* Proven construction project management experience within aerospace, defence, manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or similarly regulated environments.
* Strong understanding of the construction lifecycle and delivery of CAPEX projects.
* Experience managing contractors, consultants, budgets, programmes, and project risks.
* Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services and infrastructure.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Degree/HND in Construction, Building Services, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Proficiency with MS Project and project management software.
Desirable:
* Experience delivering projects within aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or high-tech engineering facilities.
* Professional membership with CIBSE, IMechE, IET, APM, or similar.
* PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification.
