Role Overview
We are actively seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Over the past 14 years, our local Commercial team has grown rapidly, now comprising over 200 members across the UK. In this role, you will build rapport with a diverse range of clients—from sole traders to CEOs of large organizations—and work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.
About you
* Strong attention to detail for reviewing client documentation to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness supporting the quoting process.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external contacts to meet expectations and compliance standards.
* Assist Commercial Account Executives in achieving high renewal retention, exceeding customer expectations, and complying with FCA requirements.
* Willingness to learn, as daily tasks will vary. This role offers a great opportunity to progress your career as a Commercial Account Handler and to further your professional qualifications.
* Ability to process data promptly and accurately on relevant systems to support high-quality client service and internal processes, enabling informed analysis.
