Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to deliver pre-set work and ensure lessons run smoothly when teachers are absent. You will be responsible for maintaining order, supporting student understanding where possible, and ensuring a calm and productive atmosphere throughout the lesson.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a variety of subjects
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work
* Provide basic guidance and support during lessons
* Report on student behaviour and lesson outcomes
* Uphold a safe and respectful learning environment
Requirements:
* Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Confidence leading a class independently
* A calm, adaptable and professional approach
* A genuine interest in supporting student learning
