Working alongside an experienced Home Manager, you will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining exceptional standards of dementia care, and creating a warm, safe, and person-centred environment for residents to thrive. About the Role As Deputy Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the home while leading by example on the floor. You’ll help ensure high standards of care, compliance, staffing, and resident wellbeing are consistently delivered. Your responsibilities will include: ✔ Supporting the Home Manager with daily operations ✔ Leading, motivating, and developing care teams ✔ Ensuring outstanding person-centred dementia care ✔ Supporting with care planning and risk assessments ✔ Assisting with staff supervisions, training, and development ✔ Maintaining CQC standards and regulatory compliance ✔ Supporting medication management and clinical governance ✔ Building positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals ✔ Promoting a warm, welcoming, and homely environment What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is: ✔ Passionate about dementia care and resident wellbeing ✔ An experienced Senior Carer, Team Leader, or Deputy Manager ✔ A confident leader with excellent communication skills ✔ Calm, compassionate, and organised ✔ Knowledgeable around CQC standards and care regulations ✔ Committed to supporting and developing staff ✔ Dedicated to delivering exceptional standards of care A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care is essential. A Level 5 qualification or willingness to work towards it would be advantageous.
