The Opportunity
As a Senior Manager in ISTARI's Advisory practice, you are at the heart of our client mission, responsible for delivering key components of our most complex cybersecurity engagements. You will be a cornerstone of our project teams, managing timelines, coordinating across multiple stakeholders, and ensuring that all deliverables meet our standards of excellence.
This role is a critical part of our delivery engine, offering a unique opportunity to work on large-scale advisory projects while honing your expertise in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will be instrumental in managing programmes, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring our clients are delighted with the outcomes.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
* Delivery & Execution: Delivers key components of advisory engagements, manages project workstreams, and ensures deliverables meet client requirements. Manage programmes to define objectives, scope, timelines, and budgets. You will produce status reports and escalate potential delays or budget overruns in advance.
* Business Development: Supports Directors, Principals and Partners in creating proposals, solutions, and other client-facing materials.
* Practice & People Development: Contributes to internal delivery materials and fosters a collaborative team environment.
What You'll Bring (Candidate Profile)
* Experience: ~5-7+ years in cybersecurity consulting.
* Expertise: Direct cyber expertise and delivery of cyber projects is essential. You are a resilient, self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and possesses deepening expertise in at least one technical or solution area.
* Programme Management: Extensive experience with cyber engagements and programme managing large, complex client projects is required.
* Specialised Knowledge: Demonstrable experience in two or more key areas, such as securing critical infrastructure, crisis readiness, third-party risk management, cloud architecture, or cyber risk quantification.
* Key Skills: You are client-focused, collaborative, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work credibly with senior stakeholders like the CISO and CIO.
How We Measure Success (KPIs)
* Delivering client engagements and meeting objectives within the agreed-upon timelines, budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
* Effectively managing all programme stakeholders, including ISTARI, the client, and portfolio companies.
* Ensuring the quality assurance and production of high-calibre, client-ready materials such as presentations and reports.

* Base Salary: A competitive base salary, benchmarked against industry practice in our hub locations.
* Annual Performance-Related Bonus: An on-target annual bonus as a percentage of your base salary.
