We are a family based in Dorchester looking for a calm, reliable housekeeper/domestic helper to support our home while I am at home with two young children (11 months and 2 years). My husband works a lot and we’ve just relocated.
This is not a childcare role and not a deep-cleaning-only role. I will always be at home with the children.
Duties vary day to day and include:
– Laundry (washing, drying, folding, putting away)
– General tidying of living areas and children’s spaces
– Kitchen reset (loading/unloading dishwasher, wiping surfaces)
– Light cleaning such as sweeping and wiping surfaces
– Fridge clear-outs and cupboard organisation (occasional)
– Light meal prep / batch cooking (simple family meals, chopping veg, etc.)
Flexible hours - ideally an hour a day to begin with but this might increase or decrease over time. Happy to chat about what timings work best for you.
