These young people might not fit the traditional classroom mold, but they’re bursting with potential — and you could be the one to help unlock it. What you’ll be doing: Turning “I hate maths” into “I CAN do this!” Bringing algebra, geometry, and times tables to life in creative, hands-on ways. Working flexibly, sometimes in homes, sometimes in schools, always making a difference. Acting as a mentor as much as a teacher – a steady presence in a young person’s chaotic world. Who you are: A maths whizz (obviously) with a teaching qualification. Experience with young people who’ve faced challenges? Amazing. Patient, quirky, kind, and quietly heroic.
