Product Designer – Waracle
Join Waracle, a world‑class digital technology consultancy that helps ambitious clients solve their biggest business and customer challenges by innovating intelligent digital products and services. This hybrid role (2 days a week from any UK office: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee or London) seeks a Product Designer who will own interaction, user experience, and inclusive design for individual features or smaller projects, bridging strategy, design, and delivery.
Your Role
As a Product Designer you will:
* Take full ownership of interaction design at the feature level, mapping out happy paths, unhappy paths, and error states.
* Apply accessibility (WCAG) patterns, support inclusive language and testing practices to ensure broad usability.
* Build low‑fidelity and interactive prototypes using Figma, Framer, or Bolt, and document interaction expectations for development.
* Design responsive interfaces and basic interactions aligned to the existing design system.
* Design and execute user tests, write hypotheses and success criteria, and collaborate on dashboards for tracking feedback.
What you’ll bring
* Demonstrable experience owning feature‑level design and mapping complex user flows.
* Strong foundation in inclusive design practices and the application of accessibility patterns.
* Experience designing, executing, and evaluating user tests.
* Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Framer, or Bolt.
* Excellent organisational, presentation, and communication skills, able to engage with diverse personality types across client and internal teams.
