Aspiring Youth Justice Officer – Learning Support Assistant Amersham
Start Date: October 13th and October 20th | Full-time | Term Time Only
Are you a Psychology, Criminology, or Youth Justice graduate seeking meaningful frontline experience before progressing into careers such as Youth Justice, Probation, Forensic Psychology, or Social Work?
This opportunity offers hands-on experience within a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD) primary school setting, supporting children with complex emotional, behavioural, and learning needs — many of whom may be vulnerable to social exclusion or involvement with the justice system.
This role provides invaluable experience in early intervention, restorative approaches, trauma-informed practice, and inclusive education, helping you build the understanding and empathy essential for future roles in Youth Offending Services, Social Care, and Criminal Justice rehabilitation.
