Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and outgoing candidate to support a young gentleman to get out into the community and attend scheduled activities which will be fun and filled with excitement and adventure for 26 hours per week (2 hours per day). He also requires some support at work.
Responsibilities
Provide personal assistance, accompany the young gentleman during community outings, and ensure his safety and wellbeing.
Requirements
* Must have deaf awareness and be prepared to work in a home with a dog.
* Ability to drive is preferable, but not essential.
* Prepared to support mental wellbeing and recognise emotional vulnerability.
* Successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS application, funded by the employer.
