B&V Chemicals are part of Marlowe Environmental Services, and currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Delivery Driver to join our team. Based from the Daventry site, this role offers fantastic progression and development opportunity, within an established and growing business! The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of the importance of working safely with hazardous chemicals and need to be physically fit. Driver must demonstrate a high level of driving competence as well as being flexible. Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Have a keen eye for detail and be methodical in their approach with good organisational skills. Ensure that vehicle is operated checks and driving card/tacho are kept up to date. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Safely delivering hazardous goods to various locations throughout the UK Adhere to Company procedures and regulations Manage your own time while adhering to tachograph rules and regulations Carry out daily vehicle checks Checking load to manifest Loading vehicle ensuring load is secure Delivering chemicals to multiple sites in the most efficient manner Ensure H&S and SOP procedures are followed Communicate effectively and liaise with the customer services team highlighting any customer issues or delays Work in support of warehouse as and when required.
