Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations in Exeter. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will oversee kitchen staff, create and execute seasonal menus, maintain food quality standards, and uphold safety and hygiene protocols. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, controlling inventory, mentoring culinary staff, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience through creativity and efficiency. You will also collaborate with the team to develop and implement innovative culinary concepts that elevate the guest experience while aligning with SAVOR’s mission.
Responsibilities
* Lead kitchen operations in Exeter, overseeing kitchen staff, creating and executing seasonal menus, maintaining food quality standards, and upholding safety and hygiene protocols.
* Manage budgets, control inventory, mentor culinary staff, and ensure an exceptional dining experience through creativity and efficiency.

Qualifications
* Proficiency in menu creation, culinary innovation, and food presentation techniques
* Strong leadership, team development, and mentorship skills to manage kitchen staff effectively
* Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and inventory control
* Experience in budgeting, cost control, and procurement for food and beverage operations
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and ensure an exceptional guest experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience
* Previous experience in fine dining, hotel, or similar high-volume restaurant environments
* Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for culinary arts and innovation
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
* Familiarity with global food trends and a commitment to celebrating local culinary traditions
