This is a field-based role covering Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands. While there will be an element of new business development, the core focus of the role is building strong, long-term relationships with existing trade customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and introduce an expanding portfolio of high-quality products. Responsibilities Manage an existing account base of trade customers across the territory, building long-term partnerships & driving sales Prospect new business accounts where necessary, creating a longer-term sales pipeline Engage with customers through face-to-face meetings, actively promoting new products & explaining pricing; cater all meetings to customer specific needs Provide technical support & product to training customers, promoting continued customer loyalty Introduce new product lines to customers The Successful Candidate 2 years B2B field sales experience Experience of managing a high volume of existing accounts Experience selling a product into retailers or trade customers is ideal Experience selling blinds, shutters, home furnishings, textile products would be a plus Full UK driving license Ideally based on the M1 corridor, but candidates across wider Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands will also be considered Area Sales Manager Package Basic salary: up to £52,000 OTE: £70,000-75,000 (uncapped) Hybrid company car Laptop & mobile provided Private healthcare options Pension options 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
