We currently have the following vacancy of Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our friendly Early Years team from November 2025.
Marden Primary Academy is a small school with a family ethos where the children are at the centre of everything we do. We offer an environment where learning is engaging, challenging and exciting for our primary aged children and we have a dedicated team of staff that work together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children.
We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team in our Reception class.
Candidates will ideally:
1. have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years Educator qualification and experience of working within the EYFS
2. positively engage, motivate and support pupils
3. be flexible, creative and to use own initiative to enthuse and inspire children of all abilities
4. have high expectations of children to ensure progress and be able to use own initiative to differentiate tasks and activities according to the needs and abilities of the children
5. be firm, fair and consistent in approach and are confident in setting boundaries
6. have excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, parents and other professionals and who will make a positive contribution to our family ethos
The successful candidate must also be willing to undertake a Paediatric First Aid qualification.
In addition to the above, the role will also include a Childrens Superintendent contract for 2.50 hours per week, Monday - Friday Term Time Only (38 weeks per year), Permanent Variable (range 2.50 - 5.00 hours)
£1,382.96 - £1,404.66 per annum
