Offer description

We recognize that qualified staff make up a significant part of our workforce, and we value the expertise and professionalism you bring.

Managing and assessing risk is a key part of our role, and as a team, we make decisions collaboratively across all systems.

Responsibilities include undertaking assessments of young people, working with families and supporting agencies to manage needs, holding a caseload, and undertaking duty.

You will receive regular clinical and management supervision, with an emphasis on reflective practice. We believe in team and individual development, providing a full induction, extensive training, and career development opportunities.

Our approach is based on formulation and the biosocial model of care, ensuring the young person's pathway is centered on their voice and needs.

We seek a warm, compassionate, and needs-led approach with service users, families, and their networks.

Our Children, Family & Young People Services across Suffolk are looking for dedicated Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist to join existing teams.

We offer opportunities throughout our services and welcome passionate individuals who share our values.

Joining CFYP Suffolk will enable you to develop as a Registered Mental Health Practitioner, providing the time and facilities to make a difference.

Experience and skills working with young adults and families are preferred. Our team is compassionate and responsive, with processes in place to review and develop practice, therapeutic skills, and staff learning.

In a time when mental health is highly visible, our profession must adapt to meet evolving needs and integrated health and social care systems.

We aim to diversify our compassionate and inclusive leadership in delivering high-quality care and embracing new roles.

If you're interested in working in a dynamic role, we'd love to hear from you.

Please refer to the attached 'Applicant Letter' for a full list of services within our Care Group. We have multiple bases in Bury St Edmunds.

At NSFT, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, supportive team that values sharing experiences and learning. We offer ongoing training and development in a thriving environment.

Why work for us? Despite challenges, we have ambitious goals, exciting transformation projects, and a dedicated team ensuring you are cared for and valued.

Why Norfolk and Suffolk? The region is warm and welcoming, close to the coast and Broads National Park, just an hour and a half from London, with an international airport in Norwich. The area offers rich history, independent cafes, shops, theatres, excellent schools, and affordable housing.
