Administrator | Temporary to Permanent | Glasgow | £18.21 per hour
Your new roleAs Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales function and ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing and accurately marking up customer orders within strict timelines
* Checking orders and ensuring accuracy prior to dispatch
* Handling inbound customer calls in a professional and timely manner
* Managing a shared inbox and responding to order enquiries
* Raising manual overnight and collection orders
* Investigating discrepancies including shortages, credits, and returns
* Coordinating proof of delivery (POD) requests and sample orders
* Completing order matching and follow-ups
* Supporting wider administrative duties, including order entry and invoice processing
* Assisting management with ad hoc tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in a sales administration or office-based role
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
* A proactive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to support the wider team
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Experience within a product-based or order-processing environment would be advantageous
