Overview
We are seeking a Process Controller to join our Newbury operations team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality water services to customers.
Base Location
Speen - Newbury - RG14 1RT. The role requires travel across various sites, so a full clean UK driving license is essential.
Working Pattern
38 hours per week, 07:30 – 15:36, Monday-Friday. Includes standby duty with extra pay.
Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on plant and equipment to ensure resilience and compliance.
* Respond to reactive work to maintain operational output and water quality.
* Support large-scale planned works and stakeholder communication.
* Assist in training apprentices as needed.
* Promote safety at work and adhere to health and safety standards.
* Participate in out-of-hours standby rotations.
* Learn to operate and optimize water treatment processes for safety, quality, and efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
* Logical thinking, attention to detail, and workload management skills.
* Full clean UK driving license.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards.
* Decision-making skills under pressure.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency with IT systems.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Water Production Operator license or equivalent preferred.
* Physical fitness for confined spaces work, post-training.
