Overview
Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Energy to join our team in Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of energy projects across the UK, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that support the energy transition.
Responsibilities
* Lead projects through the full lifecycle from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout, while guiding high-performing project teams.
* Build and maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders; ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to a high standard of quality.
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks; manage project budgets and resources effectively.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project managers on proposals, change orders, status reports, financial updates, and forecasting.
* Work with NEC contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant field; APMP qualifications are advantageous.
* Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
* Experience in project management within the energy/engineering consultancy sector, including project setup and financial monitoring processes.
* Experience coordinating with Project Managers for proposals, change orders, status reports and forecasting.
* Experience working with NEC contracts is essential.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-team environment; strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
