We are looking for a proactive Construction or Building service Engineer with an appetite for work and learning and a desire to contribute.
You will be a key member of the technical team based at the Whiteley Office equidistant from Southampton and Portsmouth. The role offers the exciting opportunity to work directly with end users supporting the introduction and maintenance of operational systems.
Responsibilities
Among the responsibilities that the candidate is expected to assume are the following:
* Participate in the client meetings related with the deployments and other activities where the team might be involved.
* Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
* Communicating and meeting with clients and team members to plan projects and determine requirements.
* Plan and schedule management of the site works.
* Manage and coordinate all subcontractors.
* On site supervision of construction and installation works.
* Making sure projects follow environmental regulations.
* Making sure projects follow National standards, code and regulations applicable to construction and installation works.
* Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
* Search for local providers/suppliers.
Requirements
* CDM Regulation Knowledge and SMSTS Training Completed
* Site engineering background to represent as Prinicipal Contractor and Principal Designer for the project
* AutoCAD in order to be able to do planning permits and change when needed subcontractor design plans.
