Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced external Sales Engineer to join our team and help us build strong, lasting relationships with OEMs, resellers, and end users across the UK.
Proven experience in sales, particularly in external, customer-facing roles is essential, as youll be working closely with customers to understand their needs and match them with the right solutions from our product range.
This role offers a dynamic blend of technical support and hands-on sales activity, all within a friendly and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities: 50/50 split between developing and maintain relationships with existing customers, and identifying and targeting new sales opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
Present and demonstrate our products to potential clients, explaining their technical benefits.
Support customers with technical inquiries, providing product information and advice.
Help with the installation of products when required, working closely with the technical team.
Report directly to the Technical Sales Manager and Team.
Prepare and send out product quotations and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Travel around the UK to visit customers, see different manufacturing sites, and build relationships face-to-face.
Key Skills & Qualifications: 3 years external sales experience in technical sales, engineering, or a similar field.
An understanding of conveyor systems would be advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping people.
Comfortable explaining technical concepts to customers with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision.
