Salary: NJC Grade E: £30,518 - £33,699 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)
Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
We are seeking a dedicated Early Help Support Worker to join our Safeguarding team at Pilton Community College.
This is a vital role in supporting young people and families through early intervention, promoting wellbeing, and reducing barriers to learning.
You will manage your own caseload, liaise with colleagues and external agencies, and help foster a positive, inclusive culture across the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee Early Help provision within the school and maintain best practice.
* Proactively identify students and families who would benefit from early support.
* Manage a caseload and develop tailored support plans.
* Liaise with teaching staff, safeguarding leads, and external agencies.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
* Promote mental health awareness and positive behaviour culture.
What We’re Looking For Qualifications:
* Good literacy/numeracy skills,
* Level 3 Safeguarding trained although training can be provided.
Experience:
* Working with young people, supporting mental health and anxiety.
