Senior Accountant Job in Inverness
Location: Inverness
Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant role located in Inverness. Puro Accountancy is representing this position on behalf of a leading Chartered Certified Accountancy firm with a significant presence across northern Scotland.
In this full-time role, the Senior Accountant will support junior staff, review their work, and provide exceptional services to clients across various industries. The candidate may need to travel between Inverness and Tain offices.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Preparation of VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts for various clients
* Completing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and companies
* Drafting business tax computations
* Filing financial statements and corporate tax returns
* Supporting and reviewing work of junior staff
* Client liaison via face-to-face and phone interactions
Ideal candidate:
* 3-5 years of UK accountancy practice experience
* Experience in client-facing roles and reviewing work
* Driven, proactive, capable of meeting deadlines and budgets
* Strong knowledge of accounts and tax
* Willing to commute between Tain and Inverness
