About the role – Adult Safeguarding

We are looking for passionate and dedicated support officers who are curious and non‑judgemental about the different lives we all lead and can use a creative and person‑centred approach to working with individuals, families and carers.
Key priorities include:
* Making safeguarding personal; understanding that people can have differing views on risk and safety, using a solution focused and trauma‑informed approach
* Provide good quality, timely advice and information to people
* Highlighting situations of high risk/urgency when receiving and processing safeguarding referrals
* Collating information from a variety of sources to support informed decision making within the team, and documenting this accurately
* Contributing to the development and new initiatives within the team
You will:
* Be dedicated to and passionate about working with adults where there are safeguarding concerns
* Have a sound working knowledge of practice guidance and policies
* Be professionally curious
* Be confident in using a trauma informed approach
* Be a team player
* Have strong interpersonal, communication and IT skills
