Job overview
We seek a Consultant Radiologist with a focus on Chest Radiology. We invite applications from candidates eager to deliver outstanding radiology services and to enjoy a good work-life balance.
This is a permanent position as a consultant joining our team.
Main duties of the job
The candidate should be proficient in diagnostic and interventional chest radiology, including reporting Plain Films, US, CT, MRI, and performing CT-guided biopsies.
Additional subspecialty skills and interventions are advantageous.

Support for General Radiology is required to assist with on-call and acute work.
Additional duties will be assigned as necessary to ensure successful performance of the role, in line with the grade.

Qualifications
* On GMC’s Specialist Register or within six months of receiving CCT at interview
* FRCR or equivalent higher qualification
* Fellowship or higher degrees
Experience
* Experience in General Radiology and subspecialty training
* IT proficiency
* Knowledge of educational methods
* Interventional experience such as drainages and biopsies
Training
* Training in CT, MR, US, Plain Films, Fluoroscopy with subspecialty training

If a DBS check is required, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust will process it and recover costs from your salary (£54.40 for Enhanced, £26.40 for Standard or Basic). Participation in the DBS Update Service is encouraged, with a £16 annual fee.
