First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Minibus Driver on behalf of one of our clients.
This role will typically involve driving on a school contract over 38 weeks. Hours are 0700 – 0930 & 1430 – 1700.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate fleet of executive minibuses.
2. Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs for all clients, never compromising on punctuality.
3. Deliver exceptional customer service, always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.
4. Build instant rapport with clients, making every journey memorable.
5. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
6. Keep the vehicle pristine, well-maintained, and ready for every journey.
7. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, embodying our commitment to safety and professionalism.
Skills and Qualifications:
8. Valid UK driving licence.
9. Clean driving licence preferable (6 points max).
10. D1 category licence (without 101 restriction).
11. CPC holder.
12. Digi card holder.
13. Enhances DBS.
14. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
16. Strong knowledge of Bristol and surrounding areas is preferred.
17. Punctual, reliable, well-presented and well-mannered.
18. Ability to handle unexpected situations with calmness and efficiency.
19. Will consider under 25’s.
