The Role As a Transport Planner, you'll take ownership of daily vehicle scheduling and route optimisation. You'll coordinate with drivers, sub-contractors, and customers to ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. From planning and allocating jobs to resolving live operational challenges, you'll be at the heart of keeping transport operations moving seamlessly. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and optimise daily transport routes across the UK & Ireland Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal departments Monitor progress and maintain high service levels and compliance standards Conduct driver pre-briefs and debriefs Manage live operational issues with a calm, solution-focused approach Contribute to KPI reporting and performance improvement initiatives The client is looking for someone with hands-on experience in a busy transport office who enjoys problem-solving and thrives under pressure.
