Machine Operator Baglan | Temp to Perm contract Pay: £16.80 per hour Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights) We are recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working with automated machinery, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining high production and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate production and packaging machinery in line with set instructions Load materials and components as required Carry out machine start-ups, stoppages, and basic adjustments Complete simple maintenance tasks to support continuous operation Monitor product quality and ensure output meets required specifications Record production information accurately Assist with machine changeovers Support team members and contribute to smooth end-of-line operations Maintain a clean and organised work area Follow all health & safety procedures consistently Shift Pattern & Pay 12-hour shifts: 6:30am6:30pm / 6:30pm6:30am £16.80 per hour 2-week rotation: Week 1: 5 shifts MonTues (Days), FriSun (Nights) Week 2: 2 shifts WedThurs (Nights) The rotation then repeats What Were Looking For Experience operating packaging or manufacturing machinery (essential) Ability to work safely and follow detailed instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Reliable, team-focused attitude with flexibility across tasks Comfortable working 12-hour shifts on a rotating pattern The successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic DBS check
