Role Title: Sous Chef x 2

Salary: £29,451 - £32,236
Coleg Cambria has an exciting opportunity to join the Beri team at our Deeside Site. We are recruiting for a Sous Chef to join our Kitchen Team. As Sous Chef you will be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality food and a safe, professional environment. The Sous Chef will often be the senior chef in the kitchen, responsible for leading production and service supported by Kitchen staff. This role is central to embedding modern cookery processes, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and compliance, and ensuring Beri kitchens provide a professional environment suitable for learners to gain Realistic Working Environment (RWE) experience.
Essential Requirements
1. Level 3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
2. Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene qualification (or willingness to achieve on appointment).
3. Allergen Awareness and HACCP training.
4. At least 3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen at Chef de Partie level or above.
5. Demonstrable experience of leading kitchen operations independently.
Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
