Job Title: Legionella Remedial Plumber Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Salary/Benefits: £26k - £39k Training & Benefits We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Legionella Remedial Plumber, with a strong work history and hardworking attitude. The role is within a privately-owned Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit, who has a growing client presence and national presence. You will be travelling across East Anglia and areas of the Home Counties, undertaking installations and repairs on domestic hot and cold water systems. Our client is able to offer great further training into other areas of the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry, and are paying competitively on a basic salary. Locations of work include: Cambridge, Saffron Walden, Haverhill, Sudbury, Halstead, Braintree, Biggleswade, Sandy, St Neots, Huntingdon, St Ives, Chatteris, Ely, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Braintree, Bishop’s Stortford, Bedford, Colchester, Ipswich, Stowmarket, Thetford, Diss, Felixstowe, Lowestofr, Beccles, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, King’s Lynn, Peterborough, Wisbech, Spalding. Experience / Qualifications: * Strong experience working as a Legionella Remedial Engineer * Will hold the NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Plumbing (it would be advantageous to also hold the Level 3) * Ideally will be qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket * Fully conversant in HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines * It would be advantageous to have experience of completing Cleans and Disinfections * IT literate * Good literacy and numeracy skills The Role: * Carrying out a variety of remedial plumbing duties in line with ACOP L8 and HSG standards * TMV servicing and replacements * Installing new and repairing existing cold water storage tanks * Removing deadlegs * Making adjustments to existing pipework * Installing new pipework * Completing reactive works when needed * Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks * Making recommendations for remedial works * Keeping accurate notes of works undertaken Alternative job titles: Plumber, Water Hygiene Plumber, Maintenance Plumber, Legionella Remedial Engineer, Remedial Plumber, Remedial Engineer, Water Treatment Plumber, Environmental Service Technician.
