Job Description
Setnix UK is seeking an organised and commercially minded Avionics Commercial Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our avionics repair department. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient customer communication, accurate quotation preparation, workflow coordination, and administrative compliance within a regulated aviation environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, commercial, and customer teams to support repair activities from initial enquiry through to completion. Full training will be provided on internal systems, avionics processes, and aviation regulatory requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide customer service support by responding to enquiries, issuing repair updates, and maintaining professional communication with customers and suppliers.
* Assist in preparing and managing repair quotations using internal pricing tools and engineering input.
* Coordinate and support repair scheduling, monitoring turnaround times and supporting workload planning within the avionics workshop.
* Maintain accurate customer, quotation, and repair data within company CRM and ERP systems.
* Support business development activities by assisting with capability lists, proposals, and customer follow-ups.
* Maintain repair documentation and records in accordance with aviation regulatory and company quality requirements.
* Assist with internal reporting, KPI tracking, and audit preparation.
* Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Skills and Experience
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Competent with Microsoft Office and general database systems.
* Previous experience in administration, customer service, commercial support, or aviation environments would be beneficial but is not essential.
