As the Smart Choice Metering team continues its exciting growth into 2025, we have a new and exciting position available as our newest Auditor.
Based within reach of the Fife/Stirling area, you will oversee a team of engineers within this location, ensuring the Safety and Compliance of the team is maintained and reported as required.
Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
* Conducting post installation quality assurance inspections on meter installations
* Conducting work in progress inspections on installers and providing constructive feedback
* Highlight areas where additional support is required with recommendations during a work in progress inspection.
* Identifying and reporting/rectifying poor workmanship or unsafe situations
* Where required supporting the operational team in metering tasks and logistical movements.
* Assisting the Field Managers and Health & Safety Manager by conducting post incident site investigations and gathering vital evidence for the investigation
* Conducting investigation interviews with engineers in their respective area.
* Identifying common issues/trends in the field and feeding these back to the Senior Compliance Manager
* Assisting the Health & Safety Manager by delivering important safety training to the teams
* Completing allocated on site coaching days to bring engineers levels of workmanship up to company standards.
* Conducting on site progress reports on engineers who have been through additional training.
* Providing technical support calls to the field engineers.
* Resolve CAT2 and CAT3 defects in the review day and report back to management.
* Attend customer complaints to rectify the issue and resolve the customer complaint.
* Carry out site surveys for potential customers.
* Carry out Vehicle checks and Van Audits.
* Desktop Audits.
* Attend the training academy to support with new starter training and inductions.
This role will require the post holder to stay away from home on occasion when required by the business.
Requirements:
* Hold all relevant qualifications including either CCN1 or CMA1 and MET1 or a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Diploma Level 2
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Smart Meter Installer
* Valid EUSR card
* Full driving licence with less than 6 points
The following qualifications, skills and experience are desirable for the role:
* Experience in coaching and mentoring
* Previous experience as a field auditor or similar role
* MET4 qualification
* Gas medium pressure qualification
* Electrical 3 phase qualification
* CT Metering experience
*All certificates and qualifications must be valid for minimum 6 months from your start date
