Location: Darent Valley Hospital, Darenth Wood Road, Dartford, DA2 8DAM, Kent
Contract & Hours: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Salary: £27,857 - £30,570 per annum, NHS Band 4
Main Area: Simulation Technician
Job Overview
The Simulation Technician supports the Dartford and Gravesham Medical Education Team in delivering and expanding Simulation-Based Education (SBE). The role involves maintaining simulation suites and clinical skills rooms, operating AV and simulation equipment, setting up training environments, managing equipment stocks, and assisting in resource provision for training programs. Collaboration with the Simulation Lead and Faculty is essential to ensure a safe and effective training environment. Occasional weekend work may be required.
This position does not support visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with educators and leads to organize and deliver simulation training.

* Manage technical aspects of simulation activities, including operating simulators and AV systems.
* Facilitate training sessions using simulated patients and scenarios.
