Overview
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for ambitious and dynamic Sales Development Representatives to join our team. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role plays a crucial role in driving our sales pipeline by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to engage potential clients, qualify leads, and set appointments for the wider sales team. Responsibilities
* Lead Generation: Proactively identify potential clients through various channels such as online research, phone calling, email campaigns, and social media.
* Outbound Prospecting: Reach out to decision makers in target organisations and verticals to introduce our proposition, understand their needs, and create interest in our solutions and service offerings.
* Qualifying Leads: Assess the quality and fit of leads, ensuring they meet the criteria for potential opportunities.
* Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings for the wider sales team with qualified leads, ensuring a seamless handover for further discussions.
* CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities, interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
* Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and evolving cyber security threats to position our solutions effectively.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between lead generation campaigns and sales efforts.
Skills & Experience
* Prior experience in a sales development, lead generation, or outbound sales role.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts simply and clearly over the phone.
* A self-starter with a strong work ethic, results-driven mindset, and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
* Experience using CRM software to manage leads and track performance.
* Collaborative attitude with the ability to work well within a team and across departments.
* Resiliency and an ability to persistently pursue opportunities.
