IT Support Engineer
Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: Leicester (site-based with some travel)
We are recruiting for an IT Support Engineer to join a growing UK business supporting users across multiple sites.
This is a hands-on, varied role covering day-to-day IT support as well as involvement in upgrades, rollouts and general improvements across the business. It would suit someone who enjoys problem solving and being on-site rather than working purely on a service desk.
The role:
* Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to internal users
* Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic network issues
* Set up and configure laptops, desktops and user accounts
* Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory and core systems
* Assist with IT projects, upgrades and system improvements
* Support multiple sites (occasional travel required)
Requirements:
* Experience in an IT Support, IT Technician or Service Desk role
* Good knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows, Office 365, Active Directory)
* Comfortable in a hands-on, site-based role
* Able to manage and prioritise support requests effectively
Desirable:
* Experience in a multi-site environment
* Exposure to networking, servers or virtualisation
* Experience with device builds, imaging or rollouts
