Job Description
I am currently recruiting for a Steel Cutter in the Kingsbridge area of Devon. Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00. 40 hours a week paid. £15 per hour.
Key Responsibilities to include
1. CNC Steel Cutter/Operator
2. Review drawings, designs and specifications to ensure precision in the final product
3. Inspect finished products and ensure the meet the required specifications
4. Create custom parts based on customer request and design specifications
5. Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
6. Communicate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot production problems and find solutions
Requirements
7. Experience with metal/;steel cutting using CNC machine is essential
8. Experience in machining, metal working or a related field is required
9. Experience with manual and computer controlled machine tools, such as Lathes, Milling Machines and Grinders
10. Experience with CAD/CAM software preferred but not essential
11. Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and mathematical abilities required.
