Your new role
As the Number 1 in Finance, you will be responsible for managing all core accounting activities, overseeing the finance team, and ensuring the delivery of accurate financial and management reporting. You will play a key role in supporting strategic decision‑making and ensuring robust financial controls across the business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Lead the finance function as the primary point of accountability for all financial operations.
2. Manage all core accounting processes including Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Nominal Ledger, VAT, and Payroll.
3. Prepare monthly and annual Financial and Management Accounts.
4. Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of allpany assets.
5. Liaise directly with the Directors on all financial matters, providing insights and rmendations.
6. Oversee audits, stocktakes, stock control systems, and financialpliance.
7. Manage and support the Head Office accounts team.
8. Maintain and improve financial systems, controls, and processes.
9. Ensure strict adherence to deadlines and adopt a methodical, detail‑focused approach to all work.
What you'll need to succeed
10. A relevant Higher Education Diploma (required).
11. Minimum 4 years’ experience in financial accounting.
12. Minimum 4 years’ experience in account management.
13. Minimum 4 years’ strongputer and systems skills.
14. Experience in retail accounting, payroll, audits, stock control, and staff management.
15. Strong attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
