Vacancy Title: Lifeboat Inspection and Testing Services Trainer
Vacancy Location: Aberdeen (The role will be hired in our Dunmurry site but you will be permanently based in Aberdeen)

The Role
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Lifeboat Inspection and Testing Services Trainer to join our team in Aberdeen.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Contribute to the development of the service technician training plan and deliver training content, working with subject matter experts to build confidence and answer trainee questions.
2. Understand and apply all steps in the training cycle; advise on personal development; support training needs analysis; deliver and assess competence; analyze feedback for improvements.
3. Support continuous improvement of training through business insights.
4. Deliver training effectively, managing complexity and audience needs.
5. Drive competence assessments and support technicians' understanding and application of training materials.
6. Maintain training records, issue certificates, and conduct audits for accuracy.
7. Perform service technician duties when possible, participate in skills reviews, and maintain personal competence.
8. Support the technician community of practice, sharing best practices and continuous improvement ideas.
9. Review and update processes, standards, and training content based on practical experience.
10. Identify non-conformance issues, escalate appropriately, and collaborate on solutions.
11. Assist with incident investigations and implement learnings.

Desirable criteria:
* Subject matter expertise to a competent level
* Experience as a Trainer
* Marine industry experience
* Extensive hydraulics knowledge
