Are you a recent English, Philosophy or Creative Writing graduate passionate about the opportunity to utilise your degree subject knowledge in a meaningful role which will benefit vulnerable individuals in a school-based setting?
i-teachers are currently working with an inclusive, forward-thinking and ambitious SEMH provision academy located in the Birmingham area who are eager to add a resilient, dedicated and naturally outgoing English GCSE Tutor to their KS4 department for the remainder of the academic year in a full-time role.
In this role as a Graduate English Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide 1:1 & small group GCSE tuition to students within the English subject in a Monday to Friday position beginning ASAP, focusing on the students academic weak points.

Graduate English Tutor – Role Information:
1. Graduate English Tutor
2. Located in Birmingham (B11)
3. January 2025 to July 2025 contracted role
4. Paid £460 per week during term time
5. Monday to Friday role based in one secondary school
6. Providing 1:1 & small group English subject support to KS4 students
7. Working around tailored curriculum plan focusing on weak points
8. Conducting support sessions outside of classroom environment

Graduate English Tutor – Applicant Requirements:
10. Minimum 2:1 UK based English, Creative Writing or Philosophy degree
11. Strong academic background
12. Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
13. Passionate about education and supporting young people
14. Good organisation and communication skillset
