Please note that this is a temporary position to cover a period of maternity leave, with an expected start date of 5th January 2026, running until January 2027, to be discussed. Reporting to the Development Director, you will support our Home Managers and senior operational management team to ensure our homes are fully compliant in health and safety and property matters, including oversight on all mandatory risk assessments in line with regulations. You will also provide line management to our Mobile Maintenance Operative, as well as offering informal management of our care home maintenance staff. With excellent project management and problem-solving skills, you’ll oversee capital projects and works refurbishment, ensuring deadlines are met and controls are in place in terms of cost, time and quality. Essential Skills and Experience Health, safety, fire legislation and COSHH, including an understanding of buildings and maintenance. Property/estates management knowledge or experience. Project management and problem-solving skills. Managing and maintaining budgets. Proven experience in delivering a high-level, cost-effective service in estate management.
