Job Description – Business Analyst & Consultant
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst & Consultant to play a dual role in bridging business needs with technical solutions while providing strategic guidance for growth. The ideal candidate will gather and analyze requirements, propose effective business and technology solutions, and support decision-making that drives operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
* Analyze existing workflows, systems, and processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
* Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
* Provide strategic consulting on business operations, technology adoption, and process enhancements.
* Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and benchmarking to support business recommendations.
* Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed initiatives.
* Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
* Support system testing, UAT, and implementation of new solutions.
* Deliver presentations, reports, and dashboards that communicate insights and recommendations.
* Act as a trusted advisor to management and clients, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Business Consultant, or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of business processes, system analysis, and solution design.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management practices.
* Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, SQL, Power BI, or other data analysis/visualization platforms.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
* Strong communication and presentation abilities to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
