Are you caring, compassionate, and committed to supporting others? We are recruiting Night Care & Support Workers to join our Reablement Service, which operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to vulnerable individuals across the district.
Key Responsibilities
You will contribute to a range of essential services that enable people to remain safely in their own homes:
1. Virtual Ward Service, Supporting patients at home who would otherwise be in hospital
2. Dementia Wraparound Service, Providing one-to-one night care in residential settings
3. Repositioning Service, Monitoring and preventing pressure sores overnight
4. Urgent Response Service, Delivering short-term care to prevent hospital admissions or support timely discharge
You will work collaboratively with professionals and agencies, always upholding dignity, respect, and national care standards.
Requirements
Essential:
5. GCSEs Grades D-G or Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths and English
6. Right to work in the UK (evidence required)
7. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable:
8. Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
This role is subject to the Fluency Duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act. Applicants must demonstrate a proficient level of spoken English.
