Our client in Cookstoen is looking for Operation and Whey CIP Technicians with immediate start. Job description:This full-time role offers fixed shifts.
The hours include:7am-7pm/7pm-7am - 3 days on 3 days off 3 nights onJob role:As a Cheese and Whey Technician you will develop a high level of cheese and whey process knowledge. The role calls for candidates who have an interest in acquiring the specialist knowledge and craft skills required in cheese making alongside the capability to operate state of the art, highly automated production facilities to produce quality cheese, from pasteurisation through curd production to finished product. In addition, this role will incorporate whey processing. Full training will be provided to develop a comprehensive understanding of the processes involved.This is an important and key role within our cheese making operation and we are looking for people with energy and drive, who are keen to develop specialist skills, take on responsibility and be part of a successful team. Ideally candidates will have a food processing, technical or engineering background and will have a good general level of education, preferably with a 3rd level food qualification in food science, possess a good work ethic, as well as being reliable co-operative and fully flexible. Previous processing experience is desirable.
