We’re working with a welcoming Secondary School; that’s on the lookout for a brilliant Teaching Assistant to join their team. You’ll be that trusted, steady presence—supporting students who need a bit of extra help to thrive in the classroom.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting students across a range of subjects (don’t worry, no need to be an expert in everything!)
* Providing 1:1 and small group support, especially in core subjects like English and Maths
* Helping students stay focused, organised, and confident throughout their day
* Being part of a friendly, inclusive school community that values every member of staff
What we’re looking for:
* Some experience supporting young people—this could be in schools, youth work, or other settings
* A patient, encouraging approach (you’re the calm in the corridor chaos!)
* Someone who can build positive relationships and knows how to cheer students on, even on the tough days

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
