What you will do: Provide personal care, assisting residents with their daily routines such as washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, always respecting their privacy and dignity. Support residents with nutrition and hydration needs, including preparing meals and assisting with feeding when necessary. Assist with the administration of medication or provide prompts in line with care plans and organisational policies. Monitor and record the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents, escalating any concerns as needed. Person Specification: Qualifications: Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or a willingness to work towards this qualification. Holding a Care Certificate is desirable. An understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 Regulated Activities Regulations 2014 is vital. Key Skills: Ability to provide compassionate, person-centred care. Understanding of dignity, respect, and safeguarding principles. Effective communication skills with residents, families, and team members. Capability to observe, record, and report changes in resident conditions. Flexibility to work across different shifts within a care home environment.
