Job Description
The key responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer - Nightshift role are:
3. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment during night shifts.
4. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
5. Follow planned preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
8. Collaborate with the production team to address any equipment-related issues.
9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
10. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to maintain productivity.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Engineer - Nightshift worker should have:
11. Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
12. Experience in maintaining machinery within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
13. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
14. Ability to work independently during night shifts.
15. Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards.
16. Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF:
17. What an injection moulding machine is and does.
18. Have an understanding of what Chillers, Compressors, Material Systems are.
19. HVAC System Pressure.
